Ka~Lor Designs proudly presents Giclee Fine Art prints.
Giclee (zhee-clay)
Developed in 1989 bringing a digital method to fine art printing. After the image is scanned it is refined and stored in the computer, it is directly sent to a high resolution inkjet printer to be sprayed on richly textured canvas or Arches Aquarelle 140 lb paper. The result are razor sharp images with rich vibrant colors.
Unlike traditional printing processes sheets of paper or canvas are mounted by hand on to the printer drum and printed individually. This offers superior image resolution and color reproduction. Giclee reduces the number of steps away from the original art piece, giving the closest duplication of original artwork, human or technically possible.
Our prints are printed on a ColorSpan Giclee printer using ColorSpan Endura-Chrome pigmented inks.
Each print is shipped flat, accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity from artist and printmaker.
